Located in Deer Valley near Park City, Utah, this residence is conceived as a family retreat that will transition into a primary home over time. The stacked volumes of the house frame expansive views toward the surrounding mountains while also creating moments of privacy through courtyards and terraced gardens. The overall organization is oriented to maximize views across the valley. A palette of locally sourced, layered stone and weathered wood siding allows the house to settle into the surrounding landscape. Adam was the lead architect on this project while working at Olson Kundig.
